Testimonials
I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free.

Eating for YOUR Genetics Print E-mail

Dieting is a term used to those who die lighter.  Food is to be used to supplement your inborn intelligence )genetics) to help you reach your optimum level.  Nutrition is NOT about what foods to eat to treat a certain symptom or condition.  Nutrition is about creating sufficiency when there is a deficiency and creating purity when there is a toxicity. The foods listed directly below can be tied to allergies, asthma, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stroke, neurological conditions, and auto-immune disorders.

Types of foods that create Deficiency and/or Toxicity:

  • Dairy
  • Grains
  • Sugars
  • Soy
  • Anything Processed
  • Coffee
  • Alcohol
  • Tap Water
  • Medications
  • Food additives, colors, preservatives
  • Artificial sweeteners

Types of foods that create Purity and/or Sufficiency: Obviously this list doesn't look long but when you think of how many different fruits and veggies are out there, the list would go on for pages.

  • Antibiotic free, hormone free meats/eggs/fish
  • Coconut oil
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Quinoa
  • Pure water

The lists above are very broad and general.  You may not even agree with some of the items but I challenge you to do research and also attend our workshops on nutrition.  If you want a specific nutritional consult, please do a 2 week diet diary prior to coming.  A diary should include everything that is consumed from food, beverages, medications, supplements, and anything ingested.  Included with that diet diary, track your pH readings each day, 2x/day.  Take the first reading in the morning prior to eating or drinking anything and the second reading 2-3 hours after lunch (on empty stomach).  You can find pH strips at Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, and the Sunflower Market.  For further questions, dont' hesitate to contact Dr. Kurt.  You can find contact info under the 'Contact Us' tab at the top of the site.
