I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free.
What is wellness? A simple definition of wellness is holistichealth. Wellness is determined by how weeat, move, and think and is measured by choices and actions rather thaneffects, like weight loss, blood pressure, or cholesterol.
Who needs wellness?Everyone, it’s a panacea. It would be like asking if a plant needswater, sunlight, and nutrients.Theanswer will always be yes.Whether aplant is healthy or wilting, it still requires the same ingredients.Humans are no different. No matter the diagnosis, a person is stillrequired to eat, move, and think in a manner to obtain optimal geneticexpression.
How do I becomewell? The 1st step is to figure out whyyou want to be well? The 2ndstep is to add, not take away. The 3rdstep is to find a wellness coach/provider. We can provide that.
How do I know if someone is a wellness coach/provider? This is difficult since ‘wellness’ is a buzz work in our society. You will seewellness in front of gyms, chiropractors, and even medical marijuana clinics. The way to know if you are dealing with a wellness provider is by the line of questioning he/she asks.In allopathy (medicine, naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, etc), they ask questions like, “what do you have, how can we treat it?”In wellness and lifestyle, the line of questions will resemble, “what are you toxic and/or deficient in or what is required by the human body?”In wellness, the goal is to create sufficiency and purity, not treat disease or symptoms. The side-effect of wellness and lifestyle interventions is that you live a longer, better life.
