Relief Care
As a new patient, you obviously have pain or concerns that need to be addressed promptly. Many people think that by getting relief or not having symptoms, they must be cured or they are healthy. Imagine you are a smoker and as a result of that smoking you develop a cough. Imagine you come to me and say, "hey doc, can you help me with this cough?" Imagine I do some treatments to get rid of your cough, would you then be healthy just because you don't feel a cough anymore? As your provider, wouldn't you be paying me to address the cause of your cough and not just cover it up? By providing relief care, I'm doing you a great disservice and actually hurting you in the long run. I'm making you feel better as you continually degenerate and lose your health...without feeling it. Physiologically, neurologically, and ethically, providing relief care does not make sense. This is the sole type of care that 80% of chiropractors and an estimated 99.9% of medical doctors provide. The only reason we may provide this type of care is that some poeple are just not ready to get and stay well. We hardly ever recommend this care but will provide it, you are in charge of your health.
Corrective Care
Corrective care is logical care. Does corrective care take time? Absolutely. You cannot expect to be ready for a marathon by running only 5 or 6 times. If you've ever worn dental braces, you know it takes time for your body to adapt, relax, and re-adapt. Your spine is no different except for the fact that it protects and houses the system that runs and coordinates every function in your body. Is corrective care affordable? Absolutely. We take care of people in all walks of life from missionaries, to single moms, from military to families of 7, 8, and 9, from college kids to high level execs.
Wellness Care
Wellness is even more important than correction. Just like dental braces, there is a period of time that a retainer must be worn to insure teeth do not migrate back to their original poor position. How long does wellness take? It takes as long as you want to stay well. Is wellness affordable? Absolutely, it usually costs about 1/3 less than correction. Our goal is to help you reach your full potential...for the rest of your life.
